I have belonged to this group for around fifteen years or more. Every year we have an exhibit in Durango or Farmington, NM. For the months of August, the Durango Art Center hosted our show which included having the esteemed artist Veryl Goodnight jury the exhibit. It is a blind jurying system and I was very honored to have won both "Best Of Show" and "First Place" for my paintings "The Purple Cliffs" and "Amid The Trees In LaPlata Canyon". Both were painted on warm summer days and I was attracted to the beautiful ight of southwestern Colorado.
